The Full Moon in Gemini is always a special time, because it’s the last Full Moon of the year. This Full Moon, however, is extra special because it’s also the last Full Moon of the decade, and it occurs on December 12, 2019 (the 12th day of the 12th month!), at exactly 12:12 AM.
The numerology and synchronicity of the number 12 add to the magick and potency of this Full Moon’s energy. The number 12 reduces to 3 (1+2=3), and the number 3 is associated with the Holy Trinity, the Goddess (Maiden, Mother, Crone), the Ascended Masters. The energy of 3 is that of communication, creativity, and manifestation. All of these properties are enhanced during the Full Moon, especially with it being in Gemini, which is also the sign of communication and creativity!
The following energetic reading will apply universally to the Full Moon in Gemini in any year; however, in 2019, you can consider the energy to be amplified to the nth degree!
The Full Moon in Gemini is primarily one of completion. The year is coming to an end, and we have grown and changed immensely. The energy is ripe for us to assimilate all of our new knowledge, and we’re feeling the call to share what we’ve learned with others.
Gemini is a Mutable Air Sign, so our communication game is strong right now. Whether your preferred medium is written or verbal, we’re all feeling inspired, mentally alert, and creative, so take advantage of this energy and do what you need to do to get the word out and say what needs to be said!
This is a great time to:
- Do a Facebook or Instagram Live
- Launch a social media campaign
- Write a newsletter or blog post
- Write letters in general (Christmas cards, anyone?)
- Make art
- Write a story
Keep it short and to the point, though! Gemini energy is strong, but has a short attention span; the gift of Gemini is the ability to express yourself in a succinct, and bite-sized way. It’s just as well, especially when communicating online, where the average time people spend on a website is 7 seconds!
To really tap into that Gemini spirit, surround yourself with the Element of Air, which can be found in music, speech, and anything to do with one’s voice and creativity. Listen to an audiobook, go on a guided meditation journey, sing and/or listen to Christmas Carols, or listen to an inspiring TED Talk.
If there’s a subject or project that’s been alluding you, this is the time to revisit it – Gemini energy is highly intelligent and stimulates our logic and ability to understand.
New Year Manifestation Exercise
What I’m about to share with you is one of the most simple and effective manifestation exercise I’ve ever done. It’s called the “100 Goals List”, which I learned from Leonie Dawson.
The instructions are in the name: Write a list of 100 goals that you’d like to achieve in the new year. They don’t all have to be large goals, so be sure to include smaller, achievable, “fun to do” goals. It might be tough to get started, but once you get going, you’ll find yourself adding a large variety of items to the list. You’ll be surprised at all the wonderful things that you’d like to do!
And that’s it! Keep the list somewhere safe and revisit it at the end of next year. I promise, you’ll be surprised at how many items on that list you’ve managed to check off, many of which you may have forgotten about! Of course, it’s unrealistic to expect that you’ll complete every single one of your goals, but that’s not the point! What’s important is that you get all of your dreams – big and small – on paper, and release it to the Universe.
The simple act of writing a goal down has more power than you can imagine. Bringing your awareness to your desires, however momentarily, will stimulate a shift in your perception and steer the course of your life in a new direction.
Trust your Soul’s longing, trust yourself, and surrender to your Higher Power.
Wishing you a Full Moon of love, completion, and peace,
