A Blessing for the New Moon in Libra
May you see the beauty that surrounds you and the love that flows through you
May justice be served and all debts be repaid
May you willingly receive all that is coming to you
May you see and speak the truth
And so it is.
Libra is known for being the Sign of the diplomat and peacemaker, but don’t let this harmonious energy fool you – Libra is no pushover! Imagine the Egyptian Goddess Maat, who weighs the hearts of the souls of the departed and determines their fate: such is the power and strength of Libra.
Your ability to tap into your “all-seeing eye” is heightened during this New Moon, especially since we’re also bathing in the Season of Libra. If you need to be able to see all sides of an issue, come up with creative solutions, and make difficult decisions, now is the time!
During the Libra New Moon, the energy is ripe for contemplation and planning, rather than taking immediate action. Use this energy to really sit with your intuition, and welcome in different perspectives. This is the perfect time to focus on:
Specifically, work-life balance. Are you accomplishing all the work that needs to be done? Are you focusing on income-producing activities? And at the same time, are you taking care of yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually?
Receiving What’s Yours
Are you giving away your power? Libra reminds us to hold our ground and ask for what is rightly ours. If others are to treat you fairly, it must start with you. Libra has a bad reputation for being a pushover, but that’s only if this energy isn’t being channeled fully – if you let it, Libra will show you how to seek fairness in all dealings, regardless of what other people think!
Would you like more of Libra’s beauty, balance, and harmony in your life? Great! The first step is to recognize all the ways that you’re already experiencing these things. A pleasurable life cannot grow from discontent. Learn to be utterly grateful for all of the luxurious that you have, however small. In fact, this is the perfect time of year to practice Hygge, the Danish art of contentment and “cozy living”.
As we cross over into the dark half of the astrological year, take a moment to give thanks for all of the blessings you’ve received thus far. This truly is an abundant Universe – know that more good things are coming!
