Full Moon in Aries

Full Moon in Aries by Timmie Horvath Policarpio Wanechko Certified Aromatherapist Aromatherapy Essential Oils Edmonton Reiki Training Crystal Healing

“Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it; Boldness has geniuspower, and magic in it.”

~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

The judicious and airy energy of Libra comes to a crescendo with the Full Moon in its opposite sign of Aries. This intense energy has the potential to either burn it all down, or build something new – it’s up to you!

The Full Moon in Aries is probably the most emotionally volatile Moon in the Zodiac year. Full Moons have a tendency to bring all of our unconscious feelings into the forefront; add to this the spontaneous and fiery energy of Aries, and you’ve got the the recipe for an onslaught of emotional outbursts. Never one to “blame it on the Moon”, however, what I encourage is a healthy dose of self-awareness and, ahem, maturity.

Aries is the baby of the Zodiac, and many would see its shadow aspects as mirroring those of an impetuous child. This is certainly true, but only when the energy isn’t properly channeled. The word “Aries” is practically synonymous with the word “power”, so you can see how this particular Moon phase (including the days leading up to it and shortly after it) is the ideal time to work all sorts of magick.

Here’s the least you need to know: Full Moons manifest your desires, and Aries brings power, velocity, and forward movement. Knowing that your unconscious desires and emotions are just brimming underneath the surface, tap into your intuition and find a way to channel this energy appropriately.

I offer the following journaling exercise to help bring your dreams into form.

Step 1: Identify Your Blocks

In your journal, answer the following questions:

  • Where in your life do you feel stuck?
  • Is there anything in your life that could use a big push?
  • What did you start this year, that you have yet to finish?

Step 2: List the Benefits

Once you’ve identified a blocked area or unfinished project, remind yourself of WHY you began in the first place. What are the benefits of completing this project, or achieving this goal? Make a list.

Step 3: List Your Micromovements

Depending on what you’re choosing to work on, you may be starting from scratch, or picking up where you left off. It doesn’t matter – just start writing down small, doable action steps that you could take every day that will move you towards the completion of your goal. An excellent resource to help you with this is SARK’s micromovements. Here’s a link to an article explaining micromovements, and here’s a link to SARK’s micromovement freebie.

Finally, you must implement, implement, IMPLEMENT! And, keep your cool, ’cause you know – Aries and whatnot 😉

If you’re looking for a sign, this is it. THIS IS YOUR TIME, FRIEND.

Full Moon Blessings,
