The New Moon in Leo is your opportunity for a fresh start. The energy of this New Moon reminds us that we can leave the past behind us, and charge forward and carve a new path for ourselves.
Leo energy is powerful, bright, and dominant, and when bathed under the light of the New Moon, this is the time to SHINE. (Remember, you can tap into New Moon energy 3 days before and 3 days after the actual New Moon.)
However, it’s so much more than just shining your own light. Leo energy is immensely generous, and has the power to bring large groups together for the greater good. Where the shadow side of Leo is egocentric, and thinks only of showcasing oneself, the bright side of Leo helps you to shine your light and help others do the same.
This is a time to own your gifts and talents, so that you can share them with others. Keep the intention of working for the benefit of all sentient beings at the forefront of your mind, and rather than doing the work for others, empower them to see that they have everything they need within themselves.
The Leo New Moon is a great time for asking and sharing. Here are my suggestions for tapping into this energy:
The Big Ask
This is an ideal time to reach out to others and make a humble request for change. Whether you want to ask for a promotion, apply for a new job, or even just request babysitting services (a transformational ask in and of itself), dig deep and you’ll find the courage you need to ask for what you want.
An important caveat: You must be willing to surrender the outcome. Catty backlash is unnecessary for unfulfilled requests; make like a regal lion and hold your head high with gratitude, whatever comes.
Perhaps you’re on the receiving end of a Big Ask! Remember that the Universe is unlimited, and that whatever you give, you’ll be certain to receive in turn.
Make yourself aware of the needs of those around you. Please don’t misunderstand me – I’m not talking about codependency, rather, I’m encouraging empowerment for all. Nobody needs unsolicited advice, but people do need help, and you may be the person who can give it.
The following are needs that don’t require special qualifications, just an open heart: caregiver respite (this includes babysitting), meals (if you can’t cook, you can buy food), cleaning, yard work, and listening to a friend vent (without giving advice!). These are just suggestions, the possibilities are endless!
One more thing – this is a GREAT time to seek out volunteer opportunities, if you’re not already actively volunteering somewhere in some capacity.
Be the Light
This is for my social media mavens and fellow entrepreneurs!
If you’ve been spending a lot of time sharing lots of free content, now is the time to do a sales post and just ASK 🙂
If you’ve been doing a lot of asking (promotional posts), now is the time to take a break and start sharing your gifts with your community – gratis, of course.
To complete the fortuitous energy of the Leo New Moon, you must also SHARE the spotlight 🙂 You might want to do a social media shoutout to a few fellow entrepreneurs, or you could do a product review for a local business with no strings attached.
If you get anything from this post, please let it be this: If you truly want to BE the Light, you must SHARE the Light.
New Moon Blessings to you…
